The theme for this year’s summer school is ‘As we wait in joyful hope’. All those attending on a day or residential basis will receive five books full of music resources to bring back to their parishes or schools.
The programme, which runs from mid afternoon on Monday through to lunchtime on Friday includes tutorials for schools, cantor, organ, composition, special choir, choral directing, Irish in the liturgy, and Parish music. Those attending the full week will be given the opportunity to practice and sing all the pieces included in the books at some time during the week.

Evening entertainment includes a night of Christmas celebrations introducing some familiar and not so familiar Christmas music and Dublin based Choir Faoimlaoi will deliver a presentation of Irish music complsed in the Irish tradition by their director Ronan McDonagh on Wednesday 8th July
Please note that the Schools Tutorial will be held on Monday from 2:30pm to 4:30pm. Those taking part are asked to register from 1:30pm.
All participants under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult and submit a completed parental permission slip with their booking form.
